New Australian Water Safety Strategy to reduce drowning by 50%
The Australian Water Safety Council has set an ambitious target to reduce drowning deaths in Australia by 50% by 2020. The Australian Water Safety Strategy 2008-2011 has been developed over the past 18 months from extensive industry consultation and input from Australia and overseas.
